Regional Champions for more than a decade.
USAG Men’s Team
Levels 4-10 and Elite
Our Men’s team is led by Vladimir Artemev, who has been with 5280 Gymnastics since it began in 2003. In the past 11 years, he and our talented team of coaches have led the men to 10 Regional Championships! Our coaches have developed a team culture based on commitment, self-discipline, and respect, that prepares students for more than just gymnastics. The boys in our program are some of the nicest, smartest and fittest kids around, and many of them coach in our recreational program! Boys from 5280 Gymnastics have been State, Regional, National, and Olympic Champions, and have gone on to be members of college gymnastics teams at the US Air Force Academy, West Point, The US Naval Academy, University of Denver, University of Iowa, University of Nebraska, Stanford University, and University of Oklahoma.
USAG Women’s Team
Levels 3-10 and Elite
Our Women’s USAG Team program is for girls with a passion for gymnastics and the desire to train hard. We want to give every gymnast the chance to reach her maximum potential. Our coaches believe that the best and safest way to develop high-level gymnasts is to develop strong foundations from the very first workout. Our beginning competitors learn to be physically and mentally disciplined to prepare for future challenges, not only in gymnastics, but in all aspects of their lives. Our coaches enjoy mentoring the whole child, and knowing they have played a role in shaping fantastic young adults. The physical fitness, mental toughness, confidence and positive relationships developed in team will stick with the girls through the rest of their lives.
Our women’s team has grown to over 100 gymnasts, with more than 50 girls at the optional level. In the last few years, our teams have been the reigning state champions in levels 3 through 9. We hope our developing program will be on the map for level 10 and elite soon!
Girls – All Levels
Gymnastics is a rigorous sport that often requires a huge commitment from kids and families at a very young age. For those gymnasts who would like to experience the competitive side of the sport without the intense commitment of the USAG, we offer our Xcel Team Program. In this program, our students practice considerably fewer hours than our USAG program, and families have a much smaller financial commitment. They also compete in a league of like-minded programs around the state of Colorado. We think this program is excellent for multi-sport athletes or students with diverse interests who do not want to be in the gym every single night training. Our Xcel program is a great group of families and coaches who love the sport of gymnastics, and have fun learning together.
