VLADIMIR ARTEMEV

North Men's Team Coach

Coach Vladimir brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the gym, stemming from his education at Belarussian University in Minsk, Belarus, where he specialized in Sports Physics. With a remarkable gymnastics career spanning a decade as an elite athlete on the Soviet National Team, Vladimir achievements include being a World Cup Medalist, 1984 Soviet Championship Champion, and European Championships Team Champion. Joining 5280 in 1999, Vladimir's coaching prowess is underscored by his Olympic excellence, as he would have represented the USSR in the 1984 Olympics if not for the boycott. Vladimir also coached his son, Alexander Artemev (Sasha), to a bronze medal in the 2008 Olympic Games. Vladimir has also been a coach to our 'born and raised' Olympian, Yul Moldauer for over a decade.

IRINA BENDASSOVA

North Men's Team Coach

Coach Irina brings a wealth of expertise and accomplishment to our team. Trained as a Rostov Russian Sports Scholar, Irina has a distinguished background in the sport, having been a member of the Elite Soviet National Team and achieving accolades such as World Cup Finalist and medalist at both the National Soviet and European Championships. Joining our coaching team in 2007, Irina has been instrumental in guiding our athletes to success and continues to inspire excellence in our gymnasts every day.

ALEXANDER ARTEMEV

North Men's Team Coach

With an illustrious career spanning both competition and coaching, Sasha, brings a unique blend experience to our mens team. As a gymnast since 1999, Sasha has achieved remarkable feats, including earning a bronze medal at the 2008 Olympics, where his flawless routine in the final event secured a historic victory for the men's USA Olympic Team. His achievements also include silver medals at the 2008 Pacific Rim and American Cup competitions, as well as impressive performances at the 2007 World Championships, where he ranked fourth in the all-around, and the 2006 World Championships, where he secured a bronze medal on the pommel horse. Transitioning seamlessly into coaching in 2009, Sasha's passion for excellence and dedication to the sport continue to inspire our gymnasts as they strive for their own successes.

MIKAH NEIDERMAIER

Coach Mikah has a gymnastics journey rooted in excellence as an elite team member at the World's Olympic Gymnastics Academy in Texas and has been an integral part of our team since 2009. With over two decades of coaching under her belt and a Science in Kinesiology degree, Mikah's passion for gymnastics shines through in their commitment to nurturing talent and fostering success. Mikah's coaching achievements speak for themselves, having consistently qualified TOPS members to Nationals and facilitated numerous gymnasts' selections for USA Developmental and Invite camps. Her dedication to the sport and tireless efforts in coaching inspire our gymnasts to reach for the stars. Mikah is also a proud Dallas Cowboys fan!

ALEX SHCHENNIKOV

North WDP Team Coach

Alex brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our coaching team since he joined us in 2016, with a degree in Physical Education from Russia State University. As an elite gymnast and Master of Sport in Gymnastics, Alex's journey in the sport has been nothing short of extraordinary. Having served as an Assistant Coach in the US Olympic Training Center Resident Program and coached at prestigious events such as the VISA Championships, Winter Cup, Olympic Trials, and the Beijing Olympics Men's Team. Alex has continued to excel, coaching National Team members including Jason Gatson (2004 Silver Medalist), Joseph Hagerty (2008 Bronze Medalist), and David Durante (2008 Olympics Alternate), instilling in our athletes the same dedication and drive that has defined Alex's own remarkable career.
